Marco Batista, looking back to 2005 — how would you sum up these 20 years of InovaPrime?
Over these 20 years, I believe the balance is very positive. Since the beginning, we’ve had the opportunity to work with major organizations across different geographies and in various types of projects. These experiences have allowed us to learn, grow, and evolve — to the point of launching our own product, which is an outstanding achievement.
The market’s acceptance, our clients’ daily feedback, and the increasing number of projects we receive continue to motivate us to grow both nationally and internationally. We have experienced strong, consistent growth year after year, enabling us to invest in new markets and expand sustainably.

InovaPrime was founded in 2005 from the vision and boldness of two young friends and classmates who identified an opportunity in the market to apply their knowledge and create their own business. Their curiosity and forward-thinking mindset led to the creation of InovaPrime — an IT consulting company that began its journey with an IT Governance project and today develops its own software: Governance.Business.
With the first challenge came new projects, quickly consolidating InovaPrime’s reputation for quality and professionalism in delivering services in strategic management, process management, portfolio, services, and projects. Building partnerships with leading technology companies enabled a sustained international expansion, starting in Spain and extending into Northern Europe.
Insight That Drives Change
As the company grew, so did the market — and with it, the purpose of helping clients simplify and accelerate their business. This experience revealed a clear gap: to meet clients’ needs, it was often necessary to implement two or three different solutions with integrations between them, increasing costs, complexity, and response time. This made organizational management difficult and created operational inefficiencies, as information was scattered across separate systems.
From this realization came the idea to develop our own integrated governance and BPM software — now known as Governance.Business. After several versions, tests, and thousands of lines of code, Governance.Business took shape, and in 2012, the first implementation project was launched at The Navigator Company, to whom InovaPrime expresses its gratitude for their trust.

Governance.Business was developed to help organizations govern and manage their strategy — from planning to execution — integrating capabilities in portfolio, project, resource, financial, and service management. Built on Business Process Management principles, Governance.Business includes modules such as Dashboards and Reports, Resource and Time Management, Document and Knowledge Management, Agile Project/Program Management, and automation through Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
With Governance.Business, companies achieve simplification, digitalization, and automation, strengthening their ability to make informed decisions and to establish new ways of working and collaborating.
